TumarysAcademyTumarys Academy

Named for a queen. Built for you.

Daughters of Tumarys is the heart of the Academy: the women’s track inside Leaders for Change, open to women and girls only. Everything in the flagship is here, the leadership, the soft skills, the career preparation, taught in a room where you will never be talked over, at a pace that belongs to you. Then it goes further, into two specialised pathways that end not in a certificate alone, but in income.

Why this track exists

We will be honest with you about why we built this. Talent in our city is distributed equally between women and men; opportunity is not. A young woman from a village outside Samarkand is as sharp, as capable and as ambitious as anyone she will ever serve tea to. What she often lacks is not ability but a door, a network, and someone who believes in her out loud. This track is that door. It exists to close the gap between what our young women are and what their world currently lets them become, in one generation, starting with yours.

Mentorship at the centre

Every young woman in this track is matched with a woman mentor: someone a few steps further down the road, who has faced the same doubts and knows how to get past them. Your mentor is not a distant name on a wall. She meets you, follows your progress, and picks up the phone. We consider this the single most important thing we offer, because skills open doors, but belief is what makes a young woman walk through them.

A safe place to grow

This is a space designed for young women to become themselves without apology. Our staff include women at every level, our classrooms are safe and welcoming, and families are always welcome to visit. We take the trust of a mother handing us her daughter as the most serious responsibility we carry.

Daughters of Tumarys: your questions

Is the whole Academy women-only?
No. The Academy is women-first, and men may join the flagship programme as allies. This track, and its two pathways, are for women and girls only.
Do I have to choose a pathway?
No. You can complete the women’s track through the flagship curriculum alone, or add a specialised pathway if guiding or craft business is your goal.
I am older and already have a family. Is this for me?
Yes. We welcome women of all ages. The artisan pathway in particular runs in evenings and weekends precisely because so many of our students are already mothers and workers.
