A practical academy in Samarkand where young women, and the young men who stand beside them, learn to lead, to earn, and to lift their families with them. Opening March 2027. Enrolment is open now.
Tumarys Academy is rising on Segoh street in Samarkand, minutes from neighbourhoods where girls grow up quick-witted, multilingual and full of plans, and where too many of those plans quietly stop at the front gate. We are building the place where they continue.
We do not teach for a vague future. We teach for the skills that pay this year: guiding travellers through the city that raised you, turning the craft in your hands into a business, working in three languages, using the digital tools every employer expects, and finding the confidence to name a fair price and hold it. When you finish, you will not carry a promise of what you might become. You will carry a record of what you have already done.
We open our doors in March 2027 with our first courses, and thirty of our first places cost their families nothing. Whether you are fifteen or fifty, whether you finished school last year or twenty years ago, if you are ready to build something, there is a place for you here.

Questions families ask first
- When does the Academy open?
- We open our doors in March 2027. Enrolment is open now, and we recommend applying early, as our first cohort is limited to 110 students.
- Who can study here?
- Young women are our first priority, and young men who share our values are welcome in our flagship programme as allies. Students must have completed secondary school. We welcome all backgrounds, ages and nationalities.
- How much does it cost?
- Tuition is approximately USD 600 per year, and thirty first-year places are fully funded through the Tumarys Scholars Fund. If cost is your only obstacle, apply anyway and tell us on the form.
- Where is the Academy?
- On Segoh street in the Qoʻshtamgʻali neighbourhood of Samarkand. You are welcome to visit; write to us and we will arrange it.
