About the Academy
- What is Tumarys Academy?
- A practical academy in Samarkand, women-first, focused on tourism, craft, business, languages and digital skills. We teach by doing, and our students leave with a portfolio, a mentor and a paid internship, not only a certificate.
- When do you open?
- March 2027. Enrolment is open now.
- Who funds the Academy?
- It was founded by its main sponsor, a friend from abroad who asked not to be named, together with the Samadov family, who gave the land. It is guided by an advisory board of educators and business leaders.
About studying here
- Is it only for women?
- We are women-first. Men may join the flagship programme as allies; the two specialised women’s pathways are for women only.
- What will it cost me?
- Tuition is about USD 600 per year, with thirty first-year places fully funded. Short-course fees vary by course.
- Do I need to have finished school?
- For the flagship programme, yes, completed secondary school. Short courses are more flexible.
- What languages do you teach in?
- English, Russian and Uzbek.
Getting involved
- How can I support the Academy?

- Can my company partner with you?
- Yes. We offer internship pipelines and staff training, and a limited number of founding-partner seats remain. See our Partners page.
- Can I visit before applying?
- Please do. Write to us and we will arrange a visit in the language you are most comfortable speaking.
